The entrance to the Davis Hospice Center sets the tone of this home-like 12 bed inpatient Wyoming hospice center located in Cheyenne, Wyoming
The inviting front entrance begins your home-like experience as you may see a family enjoying a meal in the family dining area and, be prepared, you very well may be invited to join them. Families at the Davis Hospice Center soon find themselves sharing similar stories and experiences with other families. A common bond is forged and it does become home for many spending time here. We’re told, it’s an opportunity to spend time with others experiencing the same feelings as you.
All of our patient rooms are private rooms and feature over 300 square feet of space. Features include a window sitting area, which doubles as a sleeping area.
Rooms also include a cozy loveseat couch, table with chairs, recliner and a walk-in shower area, combined with a large closet. Also available are internet connections for sending messages back home to loved ones. Spacious shelving is included for personal items.
Beautiful artwork hangs throughout the facility. If you have a favorite recliner (who doesn’t) bring that with you and we’ll make accommodations to let you enjoy that in your room.
At the end of each patient cottage is a light, sunny area furnished with large screen TV and wicker furniture. Take time to relax here and enjoy the TV, visit with friends or just sit and enjoy the south garden just outside the doors.
While at the Davis Hospice Center, it is likely you will want a time and place to be alone with your thoughts. The Serenity Room is just that place.
There is constant color in the garden areas. The courtyard you will see from the dining area is enclosed on all sides from the wind, and there is an enjoyable patio area with tables and umbrellas to enjoy lunch during the beautiful Wyoming summer days. Another enjoyable garden is to the south and Fred, the resident elk statue, watches over this area and the constant colors. This is the area where you can enjoy a stroll or sit on the bench and watch the waterfall.
